How to Come Up with a Profound, Mind Boggling and Like-worthy Statuses on Facebook

Everybody wants to have that "epic status". The one that wows, inspires and makes your friends, family and fans, laugh and nearly cry at the same time. So if you want to be the next person to post something witty on your wall, then devour the greatest tip ever, right in this article.

Do you often find yourself wanting to say something, but you just aren't sure how to say it? Do you want your friends to freak out, because it seems like your post was intended for just for them? Do you find yourself on your wall, trying to think of a smart and sassy thing to say on your status, that would get the attention of the person you are interested in, who just so happens to be online at that very moment, but you only end up staring blankly at it for lack of anything “like-worthy” to say?

If you answered yes to any of those questions, here’s what you do:

  1. Get your iPod out (or any music player for that matter).

  2. Turn the shuffle on.

  3. Press play.

  4. Listen to the song.

  5. Pick out a line which really got stuck in your head or something that didn’t sound too obvious.

Here's some of my own examples:

  •  “Nobody said it was easy.”  (The Scientist by Coldplay)
  • They say bad things happen for a reason.”  (Breakeven by The Script)
  • “It seems like it’s been years since it’s been cleared.” (Here Comes the Sun by The Beatles)
  • “Who run the world? Girls!”  (Who Run World by Beyonce)
  • “Dance like it’s the last night of your life.”  (DJ Got Us Falling Inlove Again by Usher ft. Pitbull
  • “You know that I can take it to the next level.”  (Till the World Ends Remix by Britney Spears ft. Nicki Minaj and Ke$ha
  • “I can’t quit now. This can’t be right.”  (Without You by David Guetta ft. Usher)
  • “Shine a light through an open door.”  (We Found Love by Rihanna)
  • “Just shoot for the stars if it feels right.”  (Moves Like Jagger by Maroon 5 ft. Christina Aguilera)
  • “I don’t wanna live that way, reading into every word you say.”  (Somebody That I Used to Know by Gotye ft. Kimbra
  • “I wanna celebrate and live my life.”  (Dynamite by Taio Cruz)
  • “Kiss me, infect me with your love and fill me with your poison.”  (E.T. by Katy Perry ft. Kanye West)
  • “My life is kinda boring. I need something that I can confess.”  (Secrets by One Republic)
  • “Even the sun sets in paradise.”  (Payphone by Maroon 5 ft. Wiz Khalifa)
  • “You can look but you can’t touch.”  (I Think I’m Paranoid by Garbage)
  • “Keep my head up and I know I’ll be fine. Keep fighting until I get there.”  (Whip My Hair by Willow Smith)
  • “Do what you want but you’re never gonna break me.”  (Pocketful of Sunshine by Natasha Bedingfield)
  • “Am I part of the cure or am I part of the disease?”  (Clocks by Coldplay)
  • “What goes around comes around.”  (Karma by Alicia Keys)
  • “I bet it sucks to be you right now.”  (Best Thing I Never Had by Beyonce)
  • “I’m falling for you and I need a parachute.”  (I’m Into You by Jennifer Lopez ft. Lil’ Wayne)
  • “I maybe bad but I’m perfectly good at it.” (S and M by Rihanna)
  • “I hate when things are over when so much is left undone.” (Breakfast at Tifanny’s by Gin Blossoms)

Now that you have some stellar examples of how to come up with a profound status, anytime, anywhere, it's your turn to do some wallcrobats and stun your friend and fans!
